Beverly High School Football in the 20th Century

By Sandy Kassaris, Bob Carr, and Dick Batchelder

$20.00 + $5.00 shipping & handing;  226 pages 8 1/2" x 11"

Kenneth "Sandy" Kessaris, Dick Batchelder, and Bob Carr, have spent many hours researching, and organizing this pictorial history of the Beverly High School football teams during the 20th century. This is a great book for fans of local schoolboy football and a great resource to end arguments regarding scores and "who was on which team in which year, etc."   Images of team members and coaches spanning more than 100 years.

"About 1873, only eight years after the Civil War, the seed was planted that would eventually grow into the first football team in the history of Beverly High School... and, as they say, the rest is history."

Beverly High School 1901 Football Team

The book contains pictures of all the teams from the 1900 season to the 1999 season, (except 1918, no season due to WWI) plus the names and images of most of the players, the coaches, action shots, team scores, the season records, and much, much more.  All Beverly High School attendees will find photos of friends or relatives in this great new book.  A great trip down memory lane and a great gift for all former Beverly High School alumni.

The authors of this book have graciously given us this book to sell, and all net profits from the sale of this book will benefit the Beverly Historical Society & Museum, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit and public charity.
