Historic Houses

 The Beverly Historical Society owns, preserves and interprets three historic structures in Beverly, Massachusetts:  Cabot House, Balch House and Hale Farm.   

The Balch House Associates is a family association dedicated to the preservation of the John Balch house.  It is a membership branch of the Beverly Historical Society. If you would like to help us preserve these historic buildings, please join us.For more information click on the photo below.

Visiting Hours

Open seasonally.

Enjoy a tour with Nancy Hood, Balch descendant, who has been showing visitors the Balch House since 1970.

We had a great time on the Friendly Garden Club tour on Saturday, June 27! Special thanks to Sweeney's Greenhouse for the beautiful pots and flowers.

Visiting Hours

Hale Farm is open Saturdays from June through October, and year round by advance appointment ($20 for up to 4 people).  Please call 978-922-1186 for more information.
